The Iowa Liberty Law Center is dedicated to connecting ordinary citizens and the laws which protect their freedom. Freedom is not free. We must work hard to be free people.

One reason the People of Iowa need the
Liberty Law Center of Iowa?
In late September, a survey was sent out to over 1,600 county servants as well as our servants in the Iowa House of Representatives and Iowa Senate.
Only 24% of the respondents that took an oath of office have fully read the Constitution of the State of Iowa. 37% have not read all of it and 37% have not read it all.
The following is the oath of office these people take: "I do solemnly swear, or affirm, (as the case may be,) that I will support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the State of Iowa, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of __________ according to the best of my ability."

What are some of the items the Liberty Law Center of Iowa is working on today?
- Recruitment of members - We MUST have full time staff working on restoring Liberty in each county to get the job done. If we continue to have people spending a few hours after work in this fight, we will not win. Let's join together and pay staff to do this during the day, so we can all enjoy our families in the evenings.
- Educating all of our government servants - Our recent survey was startling. How can someone support the Constitution of the State of Iowa and not even read it? There is alot of work to do in these regards. We are looking for a sponsor to produce a booklet for our state government servants and county servants that take an oath. This booklet will include the United States and Iowa constitutions as well as other pertinent information with regards to their offices.
- Constitutionality of the use of the Iowa National Guard - There are some definite questions about how our National Guard has been nationalized.
- Evaluating the Department of Human Services and their power - The DHS has been known to trample on parental rights. Is this agency necessary? Where do they get their authority? What are the rights of families when the DHS comes knocking on the door?
- Smart Planning and Sustainability sound great, don't they? - These are being implemented many times for the right reasons, but there is a larger motive in the transparent history. Check out Agenda 21. We will be working very closely with others across the state in educating our fellow Iowans about the end goals of Agneda 21 and sustainability. Our sovereignty as individuals is at stake.
